Personal Statement
Very rarely do you learn something that truly has a positive affect on your life. Communication Studies has done precisely that. Not only have I learned lifelong skills, but have also made lifelong friends. Four years of my time along with a ton of money is a small price to pay for my own personal growth within this major.

Project "Live Better, Better Living"
My first Foundations class taught me about the origins of the study of Communication and how it integrates with our culture today.
I understand that theories of Communication help us understand and interpret the many different acts of Communication through application and analysis.
My two classes that I have taken that I will reflect on are Communication 161F and Communication 170F.
My Inquiry classes have taught me the proper methods of communication research and how to apply it to everyday life.
I understand that these different methods of communication research provide certain advantages and disadvantages and there are certain situations where one method is favorable over the other.
The two classes I have taken and I will reflect on are Communication 169I and Communication 157.
My Practice courses have helped me take what has been learned within those classes and apply it to real life scenarios.
I have applied what I have learned in these classes and demonstrated them in scenarios staged by the two different classes involving group communication and public communication.
The two classes I have taken and will reflect on are Communication 140P and Communication 105P.
